Designed and built in a collaboration between Sparkman & Stephens and Derecktor Shipyard, Lady Frances features the unique combination of deep-vee offshore performance, evidenced by the 24-degree transom deadrise, and shoal water access afforded by water jet propulsion. Twin 1960-horsepower engines power the yacht to over 30 knots and the KaMeWa waterjets give her sports-car like maneuverability. A luxury yacht interior belies the hot rod beneath.

Highlighting Sparkman & Stephens’s design versatility is the 93’ motor yacht KALAMOUN. Built by world renowned Abeking & Rasmussen for an influential client, she was the fastest diesel powered yacht at the time of her launch making 46 knots! Her astonishing speed is made possible by superb engineering by the S&S team who designed her hard-chined, deep-vee hull form, a shape which was unusual for yacht her size. This design risk paid off when KALAMOUN exceeded her owner’s speed and comfort expectations.
