New S&S Fort Lauderdale Office

We are now open for business in our new location.  We are located within the newly completed Harbor Shops complex, just off of South East 17th Street on Cordova Road (Suite 205).  Our phone, fax and email address remain the same.  Our contact information can be found below. 

  Our Florida brokerage team consisting of Peter Grimm, Charles Irwin, Curt Brayer and Jack Zacks is ready to help you with the purchase and sale of power and sailing yachts and providing yacht insurance.  Our office manager is industry veteran Kathy McClure-Marana.  In addition, Mike Cox, in our Client Services Division, operates from our Fort Lauderdale office and is available to contribute his expertise on new construction or refit oversight or to assist with just about any boat-related project you might encounter. Our Design Department, operating from our New York office, will be happy to meet with you in Fort Lauderdale to discuss a new or refit yacht project at a moment's notice.

The combined experience of our Florida group is without parallel.  For example, Peter Grimm's resume includes past President of the Florida Yacht Brokers Association-- three years--Chairman of FYBA Ethics and Arbitration Committee--eight years--Board Member and officer of Marine Industries Association of Florida--ten years--Past Commodore of the Florida Station of the Cruising Club of America--Past Commodore of Lauderdale Yacht Club--SORC Chairman--four years--Antigua Sailing Week Principal Race Officer--thirty years--US Sailing Senior Judge--ten years.

Charles (Chuck) P. Irwin brings to S&S over forty-five years of experience in both new and used yacht sales. Early in his career Chuck was president of Richard Bertram Brokerage, New Boat Sales and Yards in Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach. In 1969 Chuck and his father started Chas P. Irwin Yacht Brokerage, which Chuck operated for over thirty years before joining S&S.  These are but examples of the depth of our experience.

Backed by a complete Yacht Design and Naval Architecture Department, a team of additional brokers in New York and Newport, a Yacht Insurance Division and coupled with our Client Services Division, we strive to be your provider for yachting related services.
